Lemon Ginger Turmeric Tea

  • 2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 inch ginger grated
  • hot water freshly boiled
  • 1 large lemon juiced
  • 2 tsp raw honey
  • black pepper

Optional Ingredients

  • 1 cup coconut milk


  • Bring hot water to a boil. Allow to cool for 1 minute.
  • Add ground turmeric powder and grated ginger to tea pot or saucepan
  • Pour the hot water over the turmeric and ginger
  • Stir in lemon juice, raw honey, and two pinches of black pepper
  • Allow to cool for 3-5 minutes before serving


  • Add coconut milk if you prefer the tea to have more body and to be milder in spice
