Ingredients
2lbsPolish turkey sausage
1large white onioncut into ½-inch slices
⅔cupbeerpilsner or lager
⅓cupbrown sugar
¼cupwhite vinegar
¼cupyellow mustard
1tbspcornstarch
2tspwater
Instructions
Slice sausage into 1-inch rounds. Place in slow cooker along with the onion.
Combine remaining ingredients and pour over sausage and onions. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
In a small bowl, stir cornstarch and water to create a paste. Add to slow cooker minutes before serving to thicken kielbasa.
Serve with potato salad, potatoes, or rice, as an appetizer.
