turmeric powder

ginger
grated
hot water
freshly boiled

large
lemon
juiced
2
tsp
raw honey
black pepper
Optional Ingredients

cup
coconut milk
Instructions
Bring hot water to a boil. Allow to cool for 1 minute.
Add ground turmeric powder and grated ginger to tea pot or saucepan
Pour the hot water over the turmeric and ginger
Stir in lemon juice, raw honey, and two pinches of black pepper
Allow to cool for 3-5 minutes before serving
Notes
Add coconut milk if you prefer the tea to have more body and to be milder in spice
